The Combilift company was established by two engineers, Martin McVicar and Robert Moffett. Between them, they had over 40 years of engineering experience when they founded the business in the year 1998 in Monaghan, Ireland. In only more than ten years, Combilift became a leader in the worldwide long-load handling market, providing machinery to over 50 markets all around the world. Supported by a trusted international network of distributors which have assisted expand distribution into numerous markets all around the world and using their extensive knowledge and experience, Moffett and McVicar have built machines that are in high demand and had sold 10,000 units by mid 2009.
