End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible machinery and is well known in the material handling industry. These machines have great performance features that are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation settings that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an ideal alternative for applications which need frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
Many companies used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading machines can arrange finished goods on pallets and supplies to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers simple and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
All basic reach truck units would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The blades additionally include a hydraulic setup which allows the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only gives much more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
After the reach truck finds the shelves that are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the forks to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
