Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric

Terex provides Bi-Energy and Genie DC equipment that are emission-free and provide quiet operation for the most sensitive work applications. Like for instance, in industrial environments where the machine must travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the versatility and advantages of a diesel powered generator using a 48 Volt DC machinery.



Several of the key features offered by this combination include out, up and over positioning capabilities for complete versatility. Moreover, the zero tail-swing provided by nearly all models, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.



Proportional lift controls and drive controls also offer smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. The 48V DC electric drive system offers quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive settings. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an additional working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.



Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine

Genie machines by Terex are great for both indoor and outdoor construction applications. This model provides engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine over, up and out positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach provided by this model is the best in the market.



Diesel engine machinery on most modes have an articulating boom which provides zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machinery are great in narrow or small locations. In addition, they offer grade and terrain maneuverability, supreme power and excellent torque. The diesel engines are quiet overall too. Most models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to offer great flexibility on surfaces that are rough and uneven.



The 2 or 4 wheel drive models, offer high ground clearance and the rough terrain features which make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom kinds are available and provide extra range capabilities. On non-jib models, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models too.
