Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a huge range of optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you accomplish your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If both accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been engineered and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being developed and designed all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices can automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the boom's extension and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
