Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family business in the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, various kinds of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
In 1963, the business began crane production. The company eventually invested all of their financial resources and human resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru presently manufactures and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These equipments are designed and engineered for various applications and there are models available to cover all construction requirements.
Some models offer extremely flexible lifting options for companies who are constructing small buildings and private houses. Self-erecting cranes offer 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Topless tower cranes are amongst their other units. These cranes have upto 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are really adaptable and user friendly. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are standard tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any building or construction project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are outfitted with 12000 kg capacity. These types of cranes are specially designed to work in restricted locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated in close proximity to each other.
