Narrow Aisle Forklift
Designed to both lower and lift loaded pallets from storage spaces that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This particular type is suitable for work places with narrow spaces between aisles, like retail establishments or warehouses. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires that make maneuvering very simple.
Generally, the operator of this particular type of forklift stands up in a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: two in the front, and one in the rear. This configuration enables for fast and easy maneuvering. There are several versions of these forklifts which are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, allowing the lift to be operated without the operator having to reposition the whole equipment. The sit-down version usually has four wheels.
Numerous narrow aisle forklifts are powered with an electric engine. Electric-powered machinery are not noisy and do not make exhaust fumes, making them the suitable alternative for closed areas like for example retail spaces. Several lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. Then again, the diesel version is not recommended to be utilized indoors because it could produce exhaust and be noisy.
